Rainbow loom bracelets made of tiny rubber bands are the latest tween trend.
The elastic jewelry is on the arms of middle school kids everywhere.
It's not just the girls weaving the colorful bands into bracelets, necklaces and rings, the gender equalizing toy is soaring in popularity with boys too.
While a simple chain takes a few minutes to make, the more complicated designs can take hours.
Kits cost about $15 dollars and come with the loom a hook, clips and of course those rubber bands.
