The first snowfall of the season is headed this way. Tuesday morning's rain is expected to turn to snow as the temperatures drop.
Rhode Island-ers made it all the way to November before having to deal with any snow. While drivers say they are prepared for what ever mother nature throws at them, they are not necessarily happy about seeing snow.
"You just got to take it and roll with it that's it,
this is new England the weather is going to do what it wants to do," said Sylvie Ash.
"I like snow that's why I live in new England you know if your going to have four seasons
and its going to be cold then there might as well be snow," said Hugh Smith.
Early morning commuters were not impacted. Roadways remained clear and drivers were able to get where they needed to go with out any issues. The only precipitation, at least early on, was from the rain.
When the snow does start to fall there shouldn't be any accumulation. The road temperatures are still to warm for the snow to stick.
