Three teens from East Providence High School are getting the experience of a lifetime this Thanksgiving. The teens will be marching in this years Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade as part of the Great American Band.

For Jacob Aguiar, and sisters Shondra and Taylor Texeira practice makes perfect. The band brings together 250 of the best high school musicians from all 50 states. Jacob says, "I'm actually excited about meeting all the kids in the band and playing with them, that's my favorite part of band is just meeting other kids that love playing their instruments and being a good band together."

The students had to be invited to audition to be part of the band. Jacob will be playing the bass drum, Shondra will be playing the tenor sax and Taylor will be carrying a banner.

When it comes to the 50 million people watching the nerves start to kick in just a bit. Taylor says, "I think I'll probably be worried that I'm going to make a mistake and that it will show."

The teens will actually leave the Saturday before Thanksgiving for time to explore the city and practice with the rest of the band.
