The East Providence City manager was fired last night in a 4-1 council vote and council member are still mum as to why.
City Councilor Helder Cunha asked that a resolution to terminate Peter Graczykowski be added to the agenda.
The one opposing city council member Chrissy Rossi argued that the cost of removing Cunha was too high. She estimated the cost over $90,000 with severance and vacation pay.
For the time being city manager matters are being directed to the city solicitor Tim Chapman.
