An organization that protects victims of domestic violence is now being sued.
A former employee at Sojourner house in Providence says she was fired for being a "whistleblower."
In the lawsuit filed today Lisa Fisher says that Sojourner House was misusing federal grant money and that the FBI was investigating.
She also claims Sojourner was awarding no bid contracts on jobs in violation of federal law and she called them on it.
In the complaint, she said she was asked to collect bids for a sprinkler job that had already been completed and after questioning the validity of the task, the organization fired her.
ABC 6 news contacted sojourner house for comment but they have not gotten back to us.
