Wednesday night all of Fenway went silent before game one of the World Series got underway to honor Massachusetts teacher Colleen Ritzer. Ritzer was found stabbed to death behind her school.

Danvers High School, where she worked, will be open today with grief counselors on hand for students and staff. Classes will resume Friday.

The grisly murder has left the community in shock.

"She was just a young caring girl who had whole world ahead of her.  And to be taken so tragically, it's awful," said Peter Martellucci, Ritzer's uncle.

The 14-year- old student accused of killing her used a box–cutter, and apparently went to the movies right after the murder. Phillip Chism is being held without bail. He is currently being charged as an adult.

The community held a candlelight vigil at the school Wednesday night.
