UMass Dartmouth is working to prevent any celebration problems stemming from the World Series.
"They said anyone who is involved with any sort of rioting on campus will be expelled if they get caught doing anything crazy," said senior Andrew McCarthy.
"A lot of teachers say stuff, don't be stupid, you don't wanna loose anything," said freshman Cameron Cathcart.
UMass spokesman John Hoey says they've been in communication with student leadership and that they're stepping up preparedness.
After the Red Sox beat the Cardinals in 2004, thousands of students caused destruction on campus. Police in riot gear had to disperse the students. Hoey says they haven't had any major problems since 2004.
While students are excited, they're also being smart and staying safe.
"Drive safe, get a DD, just be safe," said freshman Kyle Berry.
"Know what you are doing, don't get too crazy," said junior Jessica Connor.
