Vice President Joe Biden will travel to Boston next week for a forum on policies that affect people with mental illness, intellectual disabilities or addiction.

The two-day forum beginning Wednesday marks the 50th anniversary of President John F. Kennedy's signing of the Community Mental Health Act.

The inaugural Kennedy Forum is being led by former Rhode Island Congressman Patrick Kennedy, the late president's nephew. It will also be attended by Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and Chelsea Clinton.

It begins with a Wednesday gala at the JFK Presidential Library, followed by an all-day conference at a Boston hotel.

Chicago Bears receiver Brandon Marshall, who's been treated for a personality disorder, will speak at the gala, along with Biden and Sebelius. Clinton will moderate a panel on public health and community approaches to addressing behavioral health disorders.
