Employees at the Brayton point power plant in Somerset are pleading with local leaders to help them keep it from shutting down.
The owners of Brayton point plan to close the coal fired power plant in 2017.
Workers say 230 jobs would be lost and electric rates would go up. The union also plans to meet with state lawmakers.
