The mother of a Barrington teen says her child was struck in the face by a school bus driver.
Last week, the mother brought her 13-year-old son to the police station saying the boy had been in an altercation with the school bus driver.
The boy attends school in Coventry in order to have special learning accommodations. His mother says on his bus ride home an incident happened. She told police the boy had bloody teeth and a red mark on his face. She also said that the bus driver had blood on his hand although, police say they could not verify her statements.
The bus company, First Student, told police that the boy had attacked the bus monitor.
