PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) _ Rhode Island's new health insurance marketplace says it has enrolled over 100 more individuals for coverage under the federal health care overhaul. HealthSource RI said Thursday it processed 114 applications on Wednesday, its second day of operation. That brings to 366 the number of individuals who enrolled during the first two days. Some payments are pending. The customer call center has fielded 3,452 calls and 82 individuals have visited in person. HealthSource RI's website has had more than 19,700 unique visits, and nearly 2,100 accounts have been created. Most Americans will be required to have health insurance as of Jan. 1 or face a penalty. Rhode Island is emphasizing getting small businesses to use the new marketplace, saying they will be able to give their employees more choice of plans.
