West Warwick man wanted for abusing six-week-old infant

A man wanted in connection with a West Warwick child abuse case, turned himself into police on Monday.

34-year-old Ronald Bliss was list on the Rhode Island Most wanted website for first degreee child abuse after he allegedly forceably lodged an object deep into his six-week-old infant daughters throat. On Septemeb 6, police responded to and apartment on Ellison Street for reports of the infant girl choking.

The baby girl was transported to the hospital and the obeject was eventually removed. Upon investigation police found that the object was forced down her throat. Bliss was arraigned on first degree child abus charges and released on $20,000 personal recognizance.
