Providence Police are warning the public about the dangers of "Molly" just days before a huge college dance party comes to the Dunkin Donuts Center.

On September 20th the Barstool Blackout Tour "Foam Party" is set to take over the Dunk with a rave like dance party including black lights, lasers, and foam.

Providence Police say they will have increased presence inside and around the venue on Friday evening and say that any impaired people will be removed from the venue.

Police say "Molly," a popular club drug has increased in popularity at events like the Barstool Blackout tour. "Molly" is the crystal form of MDMA a substance included in the Ecstasy pill. Unlike ecstasy which is known to be laced with other drugs "Molly " is commonly referred to as the pure form of ecstasy.

"We anticipate that most of the young men and women will be there to simply enjoy the event, but we are prepared for possible alcohol and drug abuse. In coordination with officials from The Dunk we are ready for any medical issues that arise and rescues will be on standby outside the venue," said Colonel Clements.
