One of the 12 victims in the Navy Yard shooting was a man with ties to Massachusetts who loved the Boston Bruins. Martin Bodrog, 54, lived in Virginia, but he grew up in North Andover.
Bodrog oversaw ship design for the Navy. Neighbors say it was common to see him, in all types of weather, wearing shorts and a Boston Bruins jersey. They say he had plans to go to the Bruins game in Baltimore Tuesday evening.
Of the 12 people who died in the attack none were in the Navy. They've all been identified as civilians, ranging in age from 46 to 73, who worked in the Navy Yard.
