15 people were transported to the hospital for drug or alcohol abuse Saturday night at a GrooveBoston party at UMass Dartmouth.
In the weeks prior to the event the school had been warning students about the dangers of the popular club drug "Molly." According to University Spokesperson John Hoey, Only one student was arrested for possession of "Molly" and there was a second arrest on a disorderly conduct charge.
All-in-all the university is satisfied with the limited number of hospital transports and arrests. Of the 1,300 students in attendance 99% behaved appropriately said Hoey.
