Overwhelmed with relief, Brittany's mother, father, and brother thank the media and public for helping track down their daughter.

17- year old Brittany Thompson was reported missing Monday afternoon, after she was seen on surveillance video leaving the Medfield library with a male.

Brittany is developmentally delayed, with the mental capacity of a 12–year–old.

Two days after she was reported missing, a man driving on Nooseneck hill road recognized the girl and called police.

Medfield police say the man seen in surveillance video is from Missouri, and is the same man she was found walking in Coventry with.

Homeland security is looking for the mans computer. That man was being held for questioning at the Coventry police department.

At this point police are not saying if Brittany was the victim of a sex crime, however an advocate for victims of sexual exploitation was assisting the family.

ABC 6 News will bring you the latest as information becomes available.
