A passionate Red Sox fan went a little too far at Tuesday's game in Tampa after he attacked the Tampa Bay Ray's mascot, "Raymond."

Trevor James Martin, 27 of Needham Mass., was arrested on Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. after twice grabbing the Tampa Bay Rays mascot by the neck and pulling him back toward the railing. "Raymond" had to push Martin off both times in order to free himself.

Several employees and fans witnessed the incident. When police arrived Martin showed signs of being intoxicated and admitted to consuming two beers during the game.

"Raymond" chose not to press charges for battery but Martin was arrested for disorderly conduct.
