Sports legends, Hollywood stars, and music icons all descended on Portsmouth Tuesday. They ignored the rain for a round of golf at the second annual 'Jeffrey Osborne Celebrity Classic.'
ABC6 News caught up with some of the players.
"All of these guys think they can really play golf, they really think they're great," said Jeffrey Osborone who hosted the tournament. "Golf is one of the best social games that there is."
"You know what's great about this is that you get to meet people, you don't know and people who do different things, like singing, and so you end up making friends for life," said Doc Rivers, former head coach of the Boston Celtics and current coach of the LA Clippers. "We're golfers, we're not fair weather golfers, we're out rain or shine."
"Jeffrey Osborne is doing so much here and it's a lot of fun for us to do the golf part, but it's more about raising money for the charities," Rivers went on to say.
