Pawtucket police investigating armed home invasion.

PAWTUCKET, RI- Pawtucket police are searching for three men who they say broke into an apartment and pistol whipped one of the residents.

Police were called to 607 Broadway at around 11 last night for a report of an armed home invasion.  The two victims say they were in their second floor apartment when they heard a knock on the door.  They tell police three unknown men forced their way inside.  One suspect was armed with a gun, the other two had knives. 

The suspects stole money, 2 laptops and a cellphone from the residents and then fled the scene.  One victim was pistol whipped during the robbery and suffered cuts to his head. 

The suspects are described as:

* a white man in his twenties with either brown or blonde hair.  He has a tattoo on his forearm.

* and two black skinny men in their early twenties.  They were both wearing a shirt over their faces.

Police say the men may have fled in two vehicles:

* A small older model black car

* A small silver car

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Donti Rosciti with the Major Crime Unit at 727-9100, extension 737.
