New York women arrested with counterfeit $100.00 bills

A pair of females from New York has been arrested for passing and/or possessing counterfeit $100.00 bills.

Keshauna Wong, 19, and another 17 year old female are each being charged with one count conspiracy and one count of passing a counterfeit bill.

The two purchased money transfers at a CVS Pharmacy in South County with the counterfeits. They then attempted purchase an electronic item from a Staples on Bald Hill Road, but were detained by Warwick police in the parking lot.

Wong will be arraigned Friday morning at the Kent County Courthouse, and the juvenile is set to be presented Friday morning as well at 3rd Division Family Court.
