Patriot Aaron Hernandez was swarmed by reporters at a gas station after leaving Gillette Stadium this afternoon.
We're learning a search warrant has been issued to Aaron Hernandez for tampering with evidence.
Patriots tight end Hernandez left his North Attleboro home before noon, Thursday. At the same time, reports were released about his role in the murder of his friend, Boston semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd. Hernandez was seen here traveling in his white Audi SUV up route one Thursday morning, running into Gillette, staying less than an hour.
Then he was peppered by reporters at a nearby gas station about Lloyd's murder. There was no response from him before he reportedly headed to his lawyers office in Boston.
Meantime, reporters were staking out Hernandez's house in North Attleboro where sources said police seized a destroyed home security system, including video surveillance.
A cell phone, used by Hernandez, was handed over to investigators in pieces. And police are still trying to figure out why a team of house cleaners was hired to scrub Hernandez's home Monday.
The star Patriots player has been at the center of the murder investigation since 27 year old Lloyd was found shot in the head Monday less than a mile from Hernandez's home.
