Nicole Scola knows how to play through pain. The Prout senior, in her search to win a 4th straight golf championship, a feat accomplished only once, play 18 holes just four days after a car wreck totaled her vehicle. She said she swerved to avoid hitting a raccoon.
Despite pain in her lower back, Scola shot an 83, winning by four strokes over Moses Brown's Caroline Farber.
Scola's great day continued with her high school graduation Tuesday night. She will golf for Quinnipiac next fall.
