Barrington Wins State Girls Lacrosse Title

Barrington captured its 10th title in school history by knocking off LaSalle 13-10 on Saturday at Stevenson Field on the campus of Brown University.

Tournament MVP Mary Kate Coogan had three goals and three assists, and senior Kelly Dolan netted three goals for the Eagles.

Playing in its first season in the RIIL, The Lincoln School overcame a 6-1 and 15-8 defecits, to come back and beat Portsmouth 16-15, as Maggie McNamara scored the winning goal with 8 seconds to play.

In Division, Narragansett held off Pilgrim 10-8 behind 4 goals from Abby McKanna.
