Worcester police have announced the body of Boston Marathon Bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev has been buried outside of the city. Police said in a statement that a "courageous and compassionate individual came forward" to help properly bury the remains.
Police have not released where the body was buried, but say it is no longer in Worcester.
Tsarnaev's body had been at funeral home Graham, Putnam, and Mahoney for a week. The directors for the funeral home received close to 120 offers for burials of the suspect, but they all fell through.
Tamerlan's Uncle, Ruslan Tsarni, has custody of the body and was hoping to bury it in Cambridge, where Tamerlan lived, but the city was not willing to take it.
