A motorcyclist in Cranston is alive, Tuesday, in part because of a man who just happened to find him trapped under his motorcycle.
The victim's mother and son are now thanking that man for coming to the rescue.
Love Jack, is what a card says, made by this little four year old, for the man who saved his dad.
"Because he helped dad," said Jack Rambone.
His dad 40 year old Timothy Rambone was taking his Harley Davidson for one last spin in Cranston.
"He wanted to sell the bike, just took one last ride," said Rambone's mom Cheryl.
Her son, Timothy, was driving down Plainfield Pike, Sunday night, when he lost control. Torn up grass and some pieces of that motorcycle still left behind where the motorcycle jumped the curb.
Dean Cooper was driving by on his way home and saw Rambone pinned under his motorcycle.
"The first thing I thought is I gotta get out and help," said Cooper, "He was banged up pretty bad. To be honest with you I couldn't even recognize him, he was covered in blood."
Cooper grabbed a medical kit out of his truck trying to stop the bleeding before EMT's got there. The 21 year old has medical and military training.
"I can honestly say I helped save the gentleman's life, but it's just who I am," said Cooper.
Rambone's mother said without Cooper her son would probably be dead. "He was bleeding so profusely," she said, "The guy was really a guardian angel."
Timothy Rambone is recovering in the hospital. He's in good condition and eager to come home.
