Warwick police have arrested Khampio Inlavongsa, 31 of Providence, after an investigation into a bomb threat in the City of Warwick.
On April 18th, just 3 days after the Boston Marathon Bombing incident, Warwick Police were called to Kenney Manufacturing in Warwick when a worker located a handwritten note in the women's bathroom indicating that a bomb was present in the factory.
The factory was evacuated and then searched. While no evidence of explosives was located, a full investigation was launched by Warwick detectives, which led to the arrest of Inlavongsa at her home in Providence on Wednesday morning.
Police say the investigation revealed that Inlavongsa was a disgruntled employee with an internal issue with management.
Inlavongsa was taken to Warwick Police Department headquarters for processing and was arraigned at Kent County District Court. She will be charged with threatening to place a bomb in a public building, which is a felony in the State of Rhode Island.
