Sales for Neil Diamond's song Sweet Caroline are up 600 percent in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombings.
The AP reports that according to Nielsen Soundscan the song has had 19,000 downloads this past week alone.
The song has been iconic to the Red Sox for over a decade and after the Boston bombing it became a symbol of the city's power to overcome a horrific tragedy.
Neil Diamond cemented the image when he appeared live at a Red Sox came Saturday and hosted a sing-along for fans.
Diamond took to his Twitter account @Neil Diamond and said he will be donating all the royalties for the songs downloads to the One Fund to help victims of the bombings recover.
