A Family Guy episode featuring the Boston Marathon and an explosion has been removed from Hulu and Fox's website.
The episode which initially aired March 17, involved Peter Griffin having a flashback of the time he drove his car through the iconic marathon.
"I just got in my car and drove it. When there was a guy in my way I killed him," says Griffin in the episode.
Later in the episode Griffin becomes friends with a terrorist secretly plotting to blow up a bridge. The bomb is detonated when Griffin uses a cell phone and explosions and screams are heard.
A clip posted to YouTube meshes the scene together so it appears the show depicts an explosion at the Boston marathon.
Family Guy creator and RISD grad Seth Macfarlane was extremely upset by the depiction. He tweeted, "The edited Family Guy clip currently circulating is abhorrent. The event was a crime and a tragedy, and my thoughts are with the victims."
