Be careful traveling this evening as brief bursts of heavy snow will cause low visibility and slippery roads across much of RI and southeastern MA. A quick inch of snow will be possible thru the midnight hour, with up to 3 or 4 inches possible in areas southeast of Providence.
Otherwise expect cloudy skies tonight with overnight lows in the upper 20s and north winds up to 10 mph. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY remains in effect until 4AM for cities and towns up and down Narragansett Bay and for areas east of Rhode Island. Several inches of snow will be possible in those areas by late tonight.
