A cell mate of a Donald Greenslit, a man accused of stabbing his wife to death, cutting up her body, and burning her remains took the stand today, saying that Greenslit confessed to him after sharing a cell for only a day.
Alex Boisclair said that when he shared a cell with Greenslit he confessed that he stabbed his girlfriend Stacie Dorego five times last January.
Boisclair said Greenslit knew he was going to serve time but thought that he might only serve ten years.
He also said that Greenslit claimed that Dorego wanted to be cremated and that in a way putting her in the stove "was a form of cremation."
Defense Attorney Mark Dana retorted Boisclair's claims accusing him of making a deal with prosecutors for leniency. Bosclair claimed he was only testifying because it was "the right thing to do" saying he made no deal with prosecutors.
