Here we go again... Another coastal storm is appearing more and more likely as we head toward the middle of this week. There is better model agreement that this storm will have a large impact on southern New England, with coastal areas most likely to feel the brunt of the storm's wrath. A STORM WATCH has already been issued for the entire southern New England coast from Wednesday evening thru Thursday evening, when NE winds gusting up to 60 mph will be possible. Winds could gust up to 50 mph for inland portions of southern New England during the Wednesday thru Thursday period. It's also possible that this storm hangs around into Friday, as it might meander off the southern New England coast for up to 2 days.
Major impacts expected:
• beach erosion and coastal flooding
• power outages due to high winds, wet snow
• several inches of heavy, wet snow
