Big Blue Bug move over... the Blue Man Group is in town.
For one weekend only the "Blue Man Group" is coming to the Providence Performing Arts Center.
One of the "blue men" Shane Andries describes the show as "a unique theatrical experience that uses comedy, technology, an art to explore the culture which we live in."
The Blue Man Group show has been one of the premier shows in performing arts for several years. People who have seen it, usually can't get enough and for those who have not they are promised a truly unique and engaging experience.
Those who have seen it before can expect many new surprises during the PPAC production. Performer Russell Rinker says the performance has a different flavor every night depending on the crowd and this tour particularly "has a lot of new material."
For those who have followed Blue Man Group throughout the years, don't worry, the classic bits and staple Blue Man acts are still a big part of the show. Visit PPACRI.org for ticketing and more information.
Tickets are available for purchase online, by phone at (401) 421-2787 , or at the PPAC Box Office located at 220 Weybosset Street in downtown Providence.
