Smithfield and Coventry Win Girls Preliminary Playoff Games

Smithfield advanced to the next round of the Girls State Tournament. The Sentinels beat Cranston West, 57 to 41 in a Division 1 preliminary game.

In Division II, Coventry beats Johnston 69 to 61. The Oakers will next play Scituate.
