On Tuesday night two young boys and their grandmother were found dead in a minivan by a the Lake of Isles in Preston, each with a single gunshot wound.
An amber alert was issued around 7:30 p.m. in the evening after the grandmother, 47-year-old Debra Denison, picked them up from their daycare and never dropped them off at home. State Police have confirmed that Denison did have a gun in the vehicle, a .38-caliber handgun. Relatives say Denison suffered from bipolar disorder and has a history of mental issues. Police say a suicide note that seemed to be from Denison was found on the scene. The full contents of the note have not been released.
