Providence fans will finally get their chance to see "The Who" after 34-years of waiting.
The Who is returning to Providence tonight as part of their Quadrophenia Tour. Last time the band was scheduled to make a Providence performance it was canceled by former Providence Mayor and current ABC6 political analyst Buddy Cianci as a result of a stampede at on of the bands other shows.
People with 1979 show tickets are permitted to attend the concert for free tonight.
Cianci joked with ABC6's Doreen Scanlon today that he will not be attending the concert.
