WEEKEND STORM... It still looks like a
rain/snow mix on Saturday, changing to rain Saturday night, then back to
snow on Sunday. The best chance for heavy snow will be north of
Worcester, MA. There is still a chance that Providence gets more
than 3 inches, but it is contingent on wrap-around precipitation as the
storm passes by the Cape into Sunday afternoon. But the storm just
might be moving too fast to give us more than 3 inches of snow. As for
the winds, they will increase from the NE late Saturday night to 15-25
mph, gusting up to 40mph. They will stay about the same speed but become
northerly during the day Sunday. Higher gusts are possible in coastal
areas. -KC
