A group in Massachusetts is urging men to pull up their pants or face the consequences.

A new PSA advertisement campaign on cable television in Massachusetts urges men who wear their pants low to "pull up your pants or go to jail."

The video, paid for by the Black Mental Health Alliance of Massachusetts, starts off saying, "Respect your self! Respect our community!"

It depicts men with sagging pants as a voice says, "So you think you look pretty good wearing you pants like that, underwear exposed, hip hop style."

Then a cop comes on screen warning individuals who were sagging pants that they can be "fined up to $300," "placed in the state prison for up to 3 years" " placed in the county jail for up to two years."

At the end the cop says, "You still think it's cool? It's the law, pull up your pants, respect yourself."
