Pawtucket Police Officer arrested on domestic violence charges - ABC6 - Providence, RI and New Bedford, MA News, Weather

Pawtucket Police Officer Steven Ricco turned himself in to police on Sunday, after being charged with one count of simple domestic assault on a female victim, and three counts of domestic disorderly conduct.

Police say that the female victim was not seriously injured in the attack.

The department is currently investigating the charges against Officer Ricco, while he's on sick leave.

Ricco was released on 1,000-dollars personal recognizance.

There's no set-timeframe for the investigation into Ricco's actions to conclude.
