A quartet from the Narragansett Bay Chorus took part in a national event alongside the Barbershop Harmony Society in which you can send more than just flowers or candy to your sweetheart this Valentine's Day.
Five quartets were traveling throughout Rhode Island Thursday performing singing telegrams. John Woodhouse, a member of one of the quartets explains, "I like to ask people, what they did last year for Valentine's Day. Most don't remember...I probably did flowers...I probably did candy...this is something that somebody will never forget."
Along with the performance, your loved one receives a rose, a box of chocolate and a card. The proceeds will go directly to the Narragansett Bay Chorus.
