Lawyers for 14 defendants named in a lawsuit stemming from the 38 Studios deal met in judge's chambers with lawyers representing the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation to discuss a detailed timeline for the lawsuit.
"We are trying to give this a structure that is ordinarily not present in most lawsuit," explained attorney Max Wistow who represents the RIEDC.
The RIEDC is suing 14 people involved in crafting the 38 Studios deal including Former Red Sox Pitcher and CEO of 38 Studios, Curt Schilling and former RIEDC executive director Keith Stokes.
On Thursday lawyer worked to reach an amicable agreement regarding how discovery will be handled since it includes thousands of documents and a timeline for depositions.
According to Wistow some dates should be determined by the end of the week.
