Burrillville seeking volunteers with snowmobiles

With more than two feet of snow expected to fall in Burrillville police officials are seeking volunteers with snow mobiles to lend their machines to emergency officials.

The request went out to residents via the code red alert system around 12:30 this afternoon.

Officials are concerned the amount of snow being forecasted might be too much for some town vehicles to handle.

Anyone who wants to assist can call Burrillville EMA at 401-641-0898.
