Representative Jared Nunes has proposed a bill that will allow local vendors at farmers markets to sell locally brewed beer and wines.

Farm Fresh the company that hosts Rhode Island farmers markets says it is in support of the legislation because it will help local producers.

The bill is set to be heard by the House Corporations Committee on Tuesday. The corporations committee oversees this bill and similar bills regarding liquor sales and liquor licenses.
