Alex and Ani spends big on Super Bowl Commercial

Rhode Island's own Alex and Ani will be making a splash on Super Bowl Sunday.

Local company is spending millions on a TV ad, that will play on TV's across the country, during the big-game.

The ad was shot at Belcourt Castle in Newport, which is owned by the founder of the Alex and Ani.

"This ad was exclusively filmed, produced, directed, and edited, all here in Rhode Island." said Alex and Ani CEO, Giovanni Feroce.

Although spending more than 2-million dollars for just seconds of air-time, may seem crazy to some, it's an investment that Alex and Ani CEO Giovanni Feroce believes will have a big-time payoff.

"This is by far the biggest ad buy we've ever done, the most we've ever spent on national advertising, but with our growth, it has a direct impact and we expect to recoup our investment, within about 14-days, after it airs." said Feroce.
