East Providence High School closed due to burst pipe

A burst pipe in East Providence High School forced students to be sent home early on Thursday morning.

The pipe burst just shortly after school began, as a result the school implemented an early dismissal. Officials say the burst pipe was not a result of the stormy weather.

The school will remain closed on Friday.
