Teenage driver dies in a late night car crash

A 19-year-old man is dead after an overnight car crash in Warwick.

Police say just before midnight Timothy Torres crashed his vehicle into a tree near the 17–hundred block of West Shore Road.

Torres had to be extricated from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials are investigating whether speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.

Torres was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
