Two rescued from overturned van on 95 S - ABC6 - Providence, RI and New Bedford, MA News, Weather

Two people were trapped in a van around 9:30 a.m. Monday morning after the vehicle ran off the highway on Route 95 Southbound near exit 24.

Rescue crews used the Jaws of Life to free one of the individuals.

The driver lost control of the vehicle, veered off the interstate and struck a tree before landing on its side.

The passengers, mother and son, were transported to Rhode Island Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
