A Pawtucket home has been gutted by two fires just hours apart.
The first fire ripped through an abandoned home on North Bend St. just before 4 p.m. on Thursday afternoon.
The second fire ignited at 3:30 a.m. on Friday morning. Crews returned to the scene when a police officer nearby noticed smoke emanating from the building and alerted the fire department.
It seems flames from the earlier fire had reignited. It took fire crews over an hour to full extinguish the blaze.
The same building was a victim to a previous fire about 6 months earlier.
No one was injured in the fire and the incident is still under investigation although police believe the cause to be suspicious.
