Car fire causes traffic delays on 195 West

A minivan fully engulfed in flames on 195-West had three lanes on the highway closed to traffic for a period of time on Tuesday.

The broken down minivan went up in flames shortly after 11 a.m. near exit 6. It was engulfed for about 15 minutes before crews were able to extinguish the fire. There was no one in the vehicle at the time of the incident.

The highway has since been fully re-opened to traffic.
