Terri serra is found guilty of violating Rhode Island's Social Host Law, but won't face any jail time. Instead, she's been placed on six–months probation. The judge said Serra knew the teens were drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana in her back yard. After serra kicked them out, four teens got into a car and were seriously injured in a crash.
Serra was also ordered to pay a one–thousand dollar fine and 100 hours of community service, half of which must involve helping those injured by drunk driving.
Serra was found not guilty for failing to render aid at the scene of the car crash back in October of 2011.
