FALL RIVER, Mass. - Police are searching for two people suspected of distributing heroin in Fall River and surrounding communities after uncovering their stash at a self-storage facility.
Police say on January 2, they executed an overnight search warrant at Storage Pros Self Storage facility at 55 Father DeValles Boulevard in Fall River.
Police searched two storage containers and seized 2,335 bags of heroin, $460 in cash and several pieces of evidence related to illegal drug packaging and distribution.
Arrest warrants have been served for a 25 year-old man and a 35 year-old woman, both of Fall River in connection with the drugs and paraphernalia seized.
Police have not yet identified the two suspects, but say they could be charged with Trafficking Heroin over 36 Grams, Trafficking Class A in a School Zone, and Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws.
